Winter Festival / Medical Fundraiser Application

 Southgate Crossing is sponsoring a fundraiser vendor event and silent auction organized and facilitated by Author Pebbles Wireman. Proceeds from this event will help with the medical trips and expenses for Pebbles.

If you would like to be a vendor at this event, Southgate has made the spaces available with a donation for the Silent auction and a minimal fee.

The money raised will help cover the cost of Pebbles’ ongoing trips to IU Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, for continual surgeries and treatments. Although her medical treatments are covered by insurance, her lodging and travel expenses are not. 

These past couple of months have been some of the most difficult months that Pebbles has faced. Her body has become completely malnourished and dependent upon home IV feedings and nursing care along with a pseudotumor cerebri and debilitating daily migraines that leave lesions on her brain - she does not have a migraine-free day.

Pebbles also suffers from an autoimmune and connective tissue disorder that is invading her body, trying to hold her captive to the pain she suffers on a daily basis. Because of the severity of this illness, the local doctors are no longer able to do the treatments. Therefore, she is treated at IU Hospital in Indianapolis, requiring numerous trips and hotel stays back and forth from Plymouth to Indy.

After five years of writing and many years of dreaming of being an author, she released her memoir, “Finding Faith in the Storm!” Editing her book this past year helped her find the faith to make it through the storms of her life as she continues to fight an illness that does not have an earthly cure! But it does not stop her from inspiring others along her path to Finding Faith in The Storm.
